The brief
What itneeded to do
Many of the shop’s customers have no interest in registering, pay cash on delivery and change their minds before the order is packed. The system had to make ordering effortless for them while giving the owner firm control once an order is confirmed.
What we built
Under the hood
Shop & checkout
Browse produce, choose sizes and quantities, see specials and check out with or without an account.
Editable orders
Customers can change an order until the shop confirms it. After that it is locked, enforced by the server rather than only hidden in the browser.
Admin & invoicing
Order review, delivery-date filters, payment confirmation, automatic emailed invoices, staff roles and a history of every admin change.
Reporting & exports
Sales reports, printable order sheets, multi-tab Excel exports, spreadsheet product uploads and a live Google Sheets feed.
Shop assistant
An AI chat assistant that helps customers find produce and fill a basket, working only from the live catalogue so it never invents stock.
Android app
An Android app built around the live shop, so every website update reaches app users automatically.
